Christians demonstrate their Faith and Trust in God through prayer. Prayer allows us to seek God’s guidance and to strengthen our relationship with God. Christ centered prayer is integrated into all aspects of our daily life and worship here at St. Margaret in-the-Pines. The Prayer Team at St. Margaret in-the-Pines is made up of  about 8-10 dedicated church members who pray for and with members of the congregation who have asked for prayer for specific purposes.  The groups uses a suggested prayer program which includes praise, forgiveness, confession, petition, intercession, reading the Bible, meditation, thanksgiving, praying the word, singing, listening and ends with praise to honor God. Under the guidance of our Priest, the prayer group responds to requests for prayer received personally from members, from requests submitted via the Prayer Box, located at the back of the church and requests submitted to the Church Office.  Prayers may take the form of silent prayer or may be prayed aloud. Jesus said, “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” If you would like more information on our prayer ministry, please speak to Roseyln Springer or Joyce Mattis.
